Renzo Saravia: physical presence and experience for the Valencia CF defence
The Argentine full-back arrives to add to the team in this second part of the season
Renzo Saravia (Córdoba, Argentina - 16 June 1993) is now a Valencia CF player. The new Valencianista right-back arrives to help the team in both defensive and attacking phases with his pace, intensity and runs into the opposition box.
CURRENT SEASON
The experienced Argentine player joins Valencia CF as a free agent following his spell at Clube Atlético Mineiro in the Brazilian Serie A in the 24-25 season. In the previous campaign he played 31 matches (19 in the Serie A Betano, 8 in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana and 2 in the Mineiro 1).
EXPERIENCE IN BRAZIL, PORTUGAL AND ARGENTINA
The player from Villa María has made more than 200 appearances in Brazil after playing for renowned teams such as Clube Atlético Mineiro, Botafogo FR and SC Internacional. Previously, he spent a short period at FC Porto, where he won the Liga Portugal Betclic and the Taça de Portugal. In his early days as a professional player, he stood out at Racing Club Avellaneda - where he won the Argentine Liga Profesional - and he was developed at CA Belgrano.
ARGENTINA SENIOR NATIONAL TEAM
The full-back has made 9 appearances for the Argentina senior national team (2 Copa América matches and 7 friendlies) between 2018 and 2019.
